1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Answer'd LLC's services at answerdai.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all law firms, attorneys, and users who access or use Answer'd.

2. Description of Services

Answer'd provides AI-powered client intake automation for law firms, including our AI intake assistant Ella. Our services include automated lead qualification, consultation booking via Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Calendly, automated follow-up communications via SMS and email, and booking reports delivered directly to attorneys.

Answer'd is a technology platform only. It does not provide legal services of any kind. Ella is an AI assistant and does not provide legal advice at any time, under any circumstances. Ella always identifies herself as an AI assistant when directly asked.

3. Eligibility

Our services are available to licensed attorneys and law firms in the United States. By using Answer'd, you represent that you are a licensed legal professional or authorized representative of a law firm, and that your use of our services complies with all applicable laws and bar regulations.

4. Subscription and Payment

Answer'd offers the following monthly subscription plans:

• Solo Plan — $199/month for solo attorneys with one attorney account
• Firm Plan — $349/month for law firms with multiple attorneys

All subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. Your free trial begins on the date you complete checkout. No charge will be made during the trial period. After the 30-day trial, your subscription will automatically renew monthly at the applicable plan rate.

You may cancel your subscription at any time before the trial ends with no charge. After the trial period, you may cancel at any time and you will retain access through the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. All prices are in US dollars and subject to change with 30 days notice.

5. SMS Communications

By using Answer'd, you authorize us to send automated SMS messages to leads who provide their phone number during the intake process. These messages include consultation confirmations and appointment reminders.

As an attorney using Answer'd, you are responsible for ensuring your use of SMS communications complies with all applicable laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Ella obtains explicit SMS consent from leads before collecting their phone number by presenting the following disclosure: "By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS appointment confirmations from this law firm. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out anytime."

6. Calendar Integrations

Answer'd integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to enable consultation booking. By connecting your calendar, you authorize Answer'd to create calendar events on your behalf. We request only the minimum permissions necessary to create booking events and do not read, modify, or delete your existing calendar events.

You may disconnect your calendar integration at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings. Disconnecting your calendar will prevent Ella from booking new consultations until reconnected.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Answer'd only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use our services to violate any applicable laws or regulations, infringe on the rights of others, transmit harmful or malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

8. Attorney Responsibilities

As a licensed attorney using Answer'd, you are responsible for ensuring your use of Ella complies with your state bar's rules of professional conduct, supervising all AI-assisted intake communications, ensuring proper disclosure to prospective clients that they are communicating with an AI assistant, and reviewing all leads and intake data for accuracy before taking action.

Answer'd is a tool to assist your intake process. Final responsibility for client relationships, legal advice, and legal matters remains entirely with you as the licensed attorney. Answer'd LLC accepts no liability for any attorney-client relationships formed through your use of our services.

9. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

Ella is powered by artificial intelligence and may make mistakes. AI systems are not perfect and may occasionally misunderstand a lead's situation, ask incorrect qualifying questions, or provide an inaccurate response. You agree to review all intake data, conversation transcripts, and lead reports before acting on them.

Ella is designed to follow ABA Formal Opinion 512 guidelines regarding AI use in legal intake. However, it is your responsibility as the attorney to ensure compliance with your specific jurisdiction's rules of professional conduct regarding AI-assisted intake.

Ella does not and cannot provide legal advice. Ella does not assess the merits of any legal claim. Ella does not guarantee any legal outcome. Ella is an intake assistant only.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Answer'd — including but not limited to the Ella AI assistant, our website, software, and branding — are owned by Answer'd LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our services without our express written permission.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of Answer'd is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of your client data. By using our services, you grant Answer'd a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing our services.

12. Disclaimers

Answer'd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Ella will qualify every lead perfectly. AI systems can make mistakes — always review intake data before acting on it.

Answer'd is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing in our services creates an attorney-client relationship between Answer'd LLC and any end user under any circumstances.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Answer'd LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

14. Termination and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at danyal@answerdai.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to Answer'd until your billing period ends.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Answer'd if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or our services. Upon termination, your right to use Answer'd ceases immediately. We will provide you with your data within 30 days of termination upon request.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
